"Well ma'am, you have to buy some oil." "Um, how do I do that?" I'm still in denial about the fact that we have some kind of leach field that we're supposed to have "emptied"...
i had a similar freak out when i heard a very strange noise, and walked out the front door to see a tanker truck pumping oil into the house. the driver told me that i was almost empty, so i asked him when it had last been filled. when he looked at his records and said december, i panicked...how the hell had i burned 250 gallons of heating oil in 2 weeks?! luckily it was december 2007, or i'd be even more broke than i thought i was!
